A feast of UAE Golf and home for Christmas

Carolina ends 2012 with so many things to decide and of course with more practice

So what’s in store for yours truly? Off to Florida mid-December to do some work with Sean Foley the coach of Tiger Woods and then on to Mexico to have Christmas with my family. January 2013 it all kicks in again with 2 tournaments in Arizona before heading to Spain and Portugal to join the Jamega and United Pro Tour. I have planned 8 tournaments all together in the Iberian Peninsula plus the Ladies European Access Tour dates for 2013 will be announced in December and will keep you posted Got invite to play a few tournaments in Asia which I would relish the thought, as I have a very strong regards for the up and coming Korean golfers who are leading the way forward in both Mens and Ladies golf. If you get a chance and want to see how putting should be done check out Imbee Park of South Korea, Amazing tempo!

Short game is the most important for me and many of my fellow Professionals. When I was on the Junior Tour in USA with Lorena Ochoa, Lorena spent hours and hours on the putting green and very little time on the range, again, one of the best putters I have seen in the game. Chipping is my passion and I spend more time chipping than on any other part of my game. It is so so important to be able to get up and down from anywhere on the course, no matter what the lie is. In my opinion, Phil Mickelson is the master of chipping and I spend hours watching his technique which I am sure you will agree is probably the best on the Mens Tour. A good sign of this is my 56 degree Callaway Forged Wedge, it is only 4 months old and looks more like 5 years old hahaha!! It’s my favourite club in the bag. Talking of whats in my bag I play Callaway Razr X Black Irons, Callaway Razr X Driver, 3 Wood and 3 and 5 Callaway Razr X Hybrids, Callaway Forged 50 56 60 Wedges and my Putter is Odyssey Metal X. I have tested both Hex Black and Hex Chrome golf balls and my personal choice is Hex Black as I can get so much bite with my wedges. The feel off the face of the putter is also to my liking.

So who looks after me management wise? Well, I am in discussions with Champions Management who look after players such as Graeme Storm, Marc Warren and the great Tony Jacklin. OK off to the Monty to give my wedges there daily regime

Have a wonderful Christmas and Prosperous New Year
