17-year old Sam Hobday crowned Royal Golf Club Champion

17-year-old Sam Hobday and new lady member Rowena Fearch were crowned Royal Golf Club Champions after winning the final match play event on the Club’s Montgomerie championship course.

Having given strong performances in the qualifying competition and quarter and semi finals in previous weeks, junior club member Hobday took on fellow member Mark McNeilly in the gent’s final, narrowly beating his opponent 4 & 3.
