The 4th RAK Junior Open took place on Saturday 5th November and supplied some of the finest young talent in the UAE all battling to take the much desired top prize over Al Hamra’s Championship Course.

The first open Stableford of the season took place on the last Friday of October on absolute pristine course conditions.

As the winter season kicks in and the temperature begins to cool Steve Rayment stormed to victory with an 82 to win the October Monthly Medal Gross prize.

The 6th RAK Mens Amateur Open took centre stage on the 14th and 15th October over the hidden gem course of Al Hamra Golf Club. This event was season opener for the U.A.E mens order of merit and saw competitors travelling from all over the Middle East eager to get their season of to the best possible start.

The opening fixture of the new season got underway with the Back In The Swing competition. The format for this event is a Betterball Stableford with competitors keen to get their season of to a positive start.

The last event for the summer season was event 4 in the Summer Open Stableford Series. This time competitors set of in an 8am Shotgun Start and saw the largest field of the series battling to take the final summer title.

The third and penultimate event in the Summer Open Stableford Series again was well supported with golfers travelling from all over the UAE. The event, which has turned out to be a popular summer fixture at Al Hamra Golf Club saw competitors teeing of early in order to avoid the height of the August heat.
