Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of four-wheel electric vehicles, has signed a major deal with Abu Dhabi Golf Club, home of the European Tour’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

The 2011 Ladies Open at Abu Dhabi Golf Club was contested with 27 participants competing on the famous National Course. The single day event proved to be compelling with low scores despite the testing weather conditions.

Ranked by Golf World as one of the World's Top 100 golf courses, Abu Dhabi Golf Club welcomes Martin Robinson to the family. Hailing from Wirral, England, Martin started playing golf at the age of 13 and developed his game and career. He went on to become a fully qualified PGA professional whilst working at the Caldy Golf Club in Wirral.

The Pink Lady Golf Day event held at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club on October 23rd raised AED 61,280 for the Cancer Research UK charity Join the Fight, a significant increase of AED 38,530 from last year’s event. 88 women from the community including friends and supporters gathered to participate in the charity event to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

In support of breast cancer awareness month this October, Abu Dhabi Golf Club is hosting Pink Lady Golf Day to raise funds for the Cancer Research UK charity (www.jointhefight.org.uk). The tournament’s objective is to raise money for the battle against breast cancer while promoting women’s participation in the game of golf.

Abu Dhabi Golf Club launched its new floodlight Night Golf on the old Garden Course (Holes 19 to 27) this summer. The golf course is illuminated by Musco Lighting with 65 light poles that contain 191 light fittings, which in turn produces maximum light coverage and excellent conditions for the golfing experience on every hole.
