An outstanding display of teamwork and strategy saw Al Badia members, Dave Champman and Tina Hasper claim the title of first place winner in Greensomes tournament held at Al Badia Golf Club on July 10.
This amazing pair got off at a fair start with a couple of bogeys and mostly pars to complete their round with a total score of nett 65. Winning a margin of 4 points from the first placers was the team of Craig Greenwood and Kevin Zajax who settled as the second placers. The pairing of Jan Vandrey and Oliver Putz settled in third place after a very close battle with Greenwood and Zajax.
Brett Armstrong’s confident performance earned him nearest the pin on hole 7 with his shot 15 feet close to the pin while Chet Riley claimed the longest drive shot on hole 13.
