The TDIC owned 27 Hole Abu Dhabi Golf Club, National Golf Course is located near Khalifa City on the outskirts of the main island of Abu Dhabi opposite Raha Beach. The 18 hole, 7,334-yard Championship course and a 9 Hole 3,299-yard extension was designed by Peter Harradine and officially opened in 2000. The initial home the the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship which is now an established event on the European Tour desert swing.
