“McCarthy Champion of Champions” at Jumeirah Golf Estates

Brian McCarthy became the champion of champions in the 2011 Rivoli Monthly Medal winners final.

All the gross and nett winners from the 2011 Monthly Medals teed it up on the Earth course with the hope of getting their name engraved on the Monthly Medal Winners Final trophy.

With the average handicap of the competitors being 5 or less, the day was setup up for an exciting climax. The best gross score of the day was return by Jumeirah Golf Estates lowest handicapped golfer Graham Pascal, who’s 77 claimed the prize following a card countback. Craig Forrest claimed third in the nett division with score of 77.

Finishing two shots better with a nett of 75 and claiming second place was Johan Andersson. The winning scorecard was returned by Brian McCarthy who’s nett score of 73 following a gross 75 was just enough to crown him the 2011 champion of champions.
