Nair wins low scoring RAK Junior Open at Al Hamra Golf Club

The 4th RAK Junior Open took place on Saturday 5th November and supplied some of the finest young talent in the UAE all battling to take the much desired top prize over Al Hamra’s Championship Course.

With an impressive field of Juniors the scoring was exceptional as expected with the majority of the field finishing under par. Sana Tufail produced a fantastic round of 4-under par 68 to become the gross champion which included unfortunate bogies on the last 2 holes. This awesome round from a possible start of the future turned out to be a winning margin of 4 shots from runner-up Bilel Belaid who carded a level par score on 72. The Net Champion and therefore 4th RAK Junior Open Champion was Dhruv Nair who carded an unbelievable 13 under par round of 59 which was enough to beat second place Mikhail Pinto by 4 shots as he finished with a Net 63. Again the RAK Junior open produced some outstanding performances over the superb championship course and we all hope they continue to do so over the coming years.
