Drysdale’s Team Scramble to Victory at Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa

Alan Drysdale lead his team to victory in the August Swing tournament at Jebel Ali’s Resort course. His team included Keith Rayson, Robert Siegel and Joel Marantan and they scored a Scramble net total of 28.95 strokes over nine holes. This was even more impressive considering the field were limited to using only 4 clubs for the entire round…

For the second successive month Andy Gomez finished in second place with his team including Tom Chisholm, Phil Herson and Nick Burnett. They managed a score of 31.65 strokes, which was just ahead of Dorothy Donnan, Damian Milton, Max Tolbert and Ed Hesson who came third with 31.9 strokes.

To add to his second place finish, Phil Herson completed a wonderful afternoon by picking up both the Nearest to the Pin prize and Long Drive prize on the second and ninth holes respectively.

The final tournament of the summer will be a Powerplay event on Wednesday 28th September 2011
