Beadle Wins Opening Event In Summer Stableford Series at Al Hamra Golf Club

This month saw the first event in the Summer Stableford Series take place. The format for these events is individual stableford with the players battling to take one of the top 3 places on offer.

The first event was well supported with players traveling from as far away as Oman to take part in the event and enjoy the immaculate Al Hamra course. This month saw a very close leaderboard with Nigel Beadle just clinching the event with 39 points, closely followed by Cindy Rials and Kathy Richardson on 37 points.

After a card play-off it was Cindy who claimed 2nd place with a better back nine of 20 points over Kathy’s back nine of 18. The next Summer Open Stableford Series event to be held at Al Hamra Golf Club will be on Friday 29th July and includes chef’s sumptuous buffet on completion of play.
