Third time lucky for Al Hamra against Tower Links in the interclub match

The first leg held at Tower Links threw up some brilliant battles and camaraderie though at the close of play it was team Al Hamra celebrating a narrow lead of 1 point as the teams finished Al Hamra 5 ½ points, Tower Links 4 ½ points.

Al Hamra knew Tower Links would not give up the trophy easily though with home advantage this was sure to be the best opportunity to date. Fortunately for Al Hamra, Tower Links could not quite over turn the Al Hamra Team as the matches on the day finished 5 a piece giving Al Hamra the a 1 point winning margin and the bragging rights for the next year.

The event was once again played in a wonderful spirit with both teams enjoying the beautiful conditions at both courses, along with the post game hospitality.
