Richard Sheridan Qualifies for Abu Dhabi Golf Championship again

Richard Sheridan secured qualification for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship for the second year running thanks to an early birdie blitz which left the rest of the field standing in perfect conditions at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Close iron shots on holes two, three and four followed by a 15ft birdie putt on the 6th put Richard four under par early on. Despite bogeys on the 12th and 17th Holes he managed to finished the round with a two under par 70 to beat Luke Cantelo and Malcolm Young into second place on level par 72.
