Owens, Hut & Fullerton win Individual Stableford at ARGC

Shaun Owens (12) scored 38 points, Jean Charles Hut (14) scored 39 points while in the Ladies’ Division, Louise Doyle (20) shot 36 points to win  the Individual Stableford event held at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Friday, 26th November.

Each competitor used their handicap index as the Tournament handicap allowance which was taken at the appropriate stroke index holes. This allowance was used to calculate the net score in points, a net score of par for 2 points, net birdie 3 points, net eagle 4 points and a net bogey 1 point.

In Men’s Division A ( Hcp 0-12 ), Owens took full advantage of a perfect day for scoring, to post an outward & inward half of 19 points with 6 net birdies on his card. The runner up spot was secured by Paul Clark who had 34 points
In Men’s Division B ( Hcp 13-28), Hut recorded an outward half of 20 points with 4 net birdies and an inward half of 19 points with another 4 net birdies edging out Matthew Derrick by 2 points.
In the Ladies division, Louise Doyle continued her good form when she posted 36 points to claim the title by three points from Captain Adrienne Fullerton. On a day where 3 of the 12 competitors in the ladies division posted 33 points Doyle took full advantage and blew the field away with her performance.
