Team Burnett win inaugural FIGS event at Jebel Ali Golf Resort

A closing burst of 3 gross birdies sealed victory for Nick Burnett and partners Matthew Hollis, Andrew Rotteveel and Vishwaneth in the inaugural Furniture & Interiors Golf Society Championships at Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa.

Their impressive final surge saw the team finish with an excellent scramble score of 64 gross on the testing Resort Course layout and was enough to relegate Clubhouse leaders Phil Herson, Jayne Wasburne, Max Picolli and Chris Barnes into the runners up position. Andrew Roteveel capped a fine day in taking the nearest the pin prize on the 8th hole with Patrick Taylor closest on the 11th
